I’ve Always Wanted to Write on Walls

These walls aren’t outside, though. They’re pages in my latest journal, theĀ Walls Notebook.

I first saw this journal (sketchbook? doodle pad? sandbox?) years ago. My first reaction: That is so dumb. Who would want a journal that’s full of someone else’s images?

Turns out, I would.

I didn’t know that till I stumbled upon Elvie Studio, though. When I saw how Lori Vliegen used the walls as a backdrop for her beautiful lettering and inspirational quotes, a lightbulb went off. Of course, I had to immediately order the notebook.

But I’m in no danger of imitating Lori’s work. These walls don’t inspire bunnies or pastels in me: they call out my Inner Bad Girl–who is ready to make some mischief. Without breaking the law.
